About the Active Club Pack

The Active Club pack is disseminated through cascade training and can only be accessed by attending. There are two types of Active Club training;

Tutor training requires participants to become tutors who then go on to deliver their own locally focussed Active Club workshops for playworkers. Previous participants included training and development officers from local authority Early Years Development and Childcare Partnerships (EYDCPs), network co-ordinators, sports development officers and others from nominated local agencies

Two phases of cascade tutor training have previously been provided, click here to view the evaluation.  Currently there are no plans to roll out more tutor training however we are offering tutor training on a bespoke basis. If you are interested in becoming an Active Club pack Tutor, please contact the Young People Project Officer, Anna Chalkley on 01509 228263 or email A.E.Chalkley@lboro.ac.uk

Active Club Workshops are available for free for those wanting to access to the pack. Every club or ‘setting’ that is represented will receive their free copy of the pack. To find out where the nearest local Active Club workshop is to you, please contact Anna Chalkley on 01509 228263 or A.E.Chalkley@lboro.ac.uk or visit the Active Clubs website http://www.activeclubs.org.uk/home
