Jump Rope For Heart Scheme

Jump Rope For Heart is a great way of making exercise fun and accessible for children. All ages and abilities can take part whilst raising vital funds for the nation’s heart charity and the school or youth group involved.
The event takes its name from the American term for skipping: jump rope.
Last year, more than 250,000 children took part in this popular initiative, raising over £150,000 for their school or youth group to spend how they choose.
Everyone's a winner!
- Schools and youth groups get to keep 20% of the money raised and the skipping kit (containing equipment worth many tens of pounds).
- Teachers and group leaders have an exercise routine that is easy to organise, plus a comprehensive teacher's or group leader’s pack.
- Children are encouraged to exercise their hearts and co-ordination skills, and it’s great fun too!
- The nation’s heart charity wins too, as 80% of the money raised will help to educate and prevent heart and circulatory disease in the future, and to save lives now.
