Physical Activity for ALL

The course aims to provide professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to plan and safely adapt physical activity sessions for children and young people with asthma, diabetes, obesity and congenital heart conditions.

The course is suitable for professionals who are directly responsible for delivering physical education lessons and/or physical activity sessions with children and young people.  For example, specialist and non-specialist PE teachers, early years/play practitioners, youth workers, teaching assistants, activity club leaders/coaches, lunchtime supervisors.

Dates for 2013

• Tuesday 15 October
• Tuesday 26 November

Delegates will receive the course manual four weeks prior to the start of the course to allow them time to study this in advance. The course includes a one day contact session involving some practical content. Courses will take place at Loughborough University.

The cost for this course is £125 for the statutory sector and £100 for the voluntary sector.
