Married with one son I returned to work at the University in 1988 to work as a Secretarial Assistant with Len Almond and his Team on the HEA Health and Physical Activity project. I was appointed as the Administrator for the BHF National Centre for Physical Activity and Health (BHFNC) at it’s inception in December 1999.
Due to a total lack of co-ordination I do not participate in any competitive sport but I do promote and enjoy walking as an activity. Favourite areas for walking include the Derbyshire Dales, Peak District and Northumbrian coast.
