Kirsty Snedden MSc, BSc (Hons)
Information Officer
Kirsty joined the BHF National Centre in November 2006. As an Information Officer Kirsty is responsible for investigating current academic physical activity related research and information across the UK and worldwide and ensuring health professionals are kept up to date with this information.
Kirsty has a BSc (Hons) in Public Health Nutrition from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh and a MSc in Sport and Exercise Nutrition from Loughborough University. Kirsty has spent time working in America at a girls weight loss camp, where she gave nutritional and physical activity advice. It was her role as Group Leader to get the girls participating in physical activity each day and teach them the importance of maintaining a healthy active lifestyle.
Kirsty has recently purchased a drum kit and is taking lessons. She also loves travelling and spent a year in Australia prior to starting her MSc course. Kirsty also enjoys running, badminton and basketball.
