Kim Buxton PG Dip, BSc (hons)
Assistant Director and Project Manager for Primary Care

Kim is the Assistant Director and Project Manager for Primary Care at the British Heart Foundation National Centre for Physical Activity and Health, based at Loughborough University.  Kim has worked at the National Centre for 5 years on a range of projects aimed at:

  1. Developing the links between the sport and health sector;
  2. Mapping physical activity promotion projects and initiatives across the country;
  3. Reviewing the evidence of what works in physical activity promotion and
  4. Developing resources to support professionals in making the case for physical activity in primary care, health and sport.

Kim is particularly interested in health-related physical activity and has delivered numerous training courses for health and exercise professionals around physical activity and health-related behaviour change.

In her spare time Kim enjoys salsa, ballroom and Latin dancing and generally keeping fit.
