Jump Rope For Heart Co-ordinator
Amy Teale joined the BHF National Centre as Jump Rope Heart Co-ordinator in September 2006. It is her role to co-ordinate in-service Jump Rope For Heart Workshops for school staff, promote skipping within schools and develop the scheme.
Amy graduated with 1st class honours in Sport and Exercise Science from Bath University. As part of her degree she undertook a work placement at BHFNC working on a range of the Centre’s projects. She also studied at the University of Western Australia as part of a student exchange. Amy moved to the Centre from East Leeds Primary Care Trust, where she worked as a Physical Activity Promotion Officer.
Amy enjoys being active. She takes part in a variety of sports but her favourite is athletics and she trains with Loughborough University Athletics Club. Her other passion is travelling and she wants to see as much of the world as possible!
