Active Club Festivals

In 2010, the BHFNC will be hosting 6 regional Active Club Festivals for children and young people.

The festivals will take place as follows:

• Loughborough Saturday 24th April, Loughborough University
• London Sunday 9th May, Lea Valley
• Belfast Saturday 15th May, The Valley L eisure Centre
• Edinburgh Saturday 22nd May, Meadowbank Arena
• Manchester Sunday 6th June, Sportcity
• Torfaen Sunday 13th June,Cwmbran Stadium

We are looking for teams of approximately fourteen 8-12 year olds to take part in these fun events, which will provide the opportunity for young people to:

• Participate in a range of fun activities;
• Have a go at doing something different;
• Take part in activity with their friends as part of a team;
• Meet new friends from other local out-of-school care settings; and
• Visit and use some of the UK’s most prestigious sporting venues.
