Patient empowerment: Using a solution focused approach

The course is based on the philosophy of solution focused practice and introduces participants to a modern outcome-focused approach for delivering routine health behaviour change solutions that fit individuals’ choices, past experiences, cultural values and resources. The course utilises a mix of slides, real patient video examples and practical exercises.

Courses will be taking place at Loughborough University on the following dates:

  • 13th and 14th March 2012
  • 15th and 16 May 2012
  • 25th and 26th September 2012
  • 4th and 5th December 2012
