Active Ageing Seminar 2012

Bookings are now open for the 2012 Active Ageing Seminar hosted by BHFNC and Vida Wellness. The event will take place on Wednesday 2 May between 9.30am - 4pm at the Woburn House Conference Centre, Tavistock Square, London.

The 2012 Active Ageing Seminar aims to inform and inspire professionals who work with, or would like to work with, older adults. Seminar delegates will hear from and meet a selection of experienced speakers. There will also be structured group discussion and networking sessions.

Topics covered will include:

• active ageing update
• marketing: focus on brands; with Nordic Walking case study
• using the new functional MOT to raise awareness and increase participation
• exercise and cognitive function
• PAR-Qs: latest developments, best practice and what this means for the industry
• age appropriate people, places & programmes.

Those in attendance also have the potential to earn REPs CPD points for attending (points applied for - endorsement from SkillsActive pending)
