New Flames: Lighting the way website launched

This new and improved website has been designed to keep users up-to-date with the latest Flames news and its roll out across the UK in the lead up to 2012. The site features new functionality including; video clips of Flames in action, testimonials from those who have been involved in the programme, case studies of how others have used Flames and an interactive map to find out where Flames is happening near you.

Organisations new to Flames are invited to join the programme benefit from free tutor training, access to additional Flames materials and resources. Information on all upcoming Flames tutor training dates are included on the new site.

Flames: Lighting the way, provides young leaders with the skills they need to plan and deliver inclusive physical activity sessions to local primary school aged children. The programme received the London 2012 Inspire mark in September 2008 and has engaged with over 7,000 young leaders and 40,000 primary school children.
